TERMS & CONDITIONS
This Client Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into, and is effective as of the Agreement Date (as defined by the contract) by and between PAUL LAURANCE (PL) and the person(s)/company identified as the Client of this Agreement.
It is important that you (The Client) read through this document thoroughly and ensure you fully understand these terms and conditions and their implications before you commence any project with PL. Please contact us if you do not understand any of the terms and conditions in this document.
DEFINITIONS
Client means any individual or company who acquires PL services wholly or predominately for personal, domestic or commercial use.
The Project is the overall production described on the Agreement.
Postponement is the rescheduling of the Project by the Client within 28 days of when production was due to commence.
Cancellation means that the project is cancelled by the Client and not rescheduled. In the event of cancellation, the Client will be responsible for those fees, costs and charges listing in this document.
Materials means any goods, chattels, items or things, including but not limited to any photographs, documents (whether digital or hard copy), videos, films, footage, props and equipment provided by the Customer to PL for the purposes of PL supplying Services.
Raw Footage means master footage recorded by PL as part of provision of the Services.
Services means video pre-production, production and/or post production as well as photography and design.
COPYRIGHTS
The work created by PL throughout the Project constitutes the copyrighted work of PL. This work at all times shall remain the property of PL. The Client is the copyright owner for the Project output and can use this material within the boundaries of the Agreement, however, you hereby grant PL a licence to use any video, audio or designs produced on your behalf in connection with our services. Unless you explicitly request a non-disclosure agreement from us, you hereby allow PL a royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable world-wide licence, to use video and/or audio and design for portfolio or for other marketing purposes connected with our services.
The raw footage is not provided to the Client unless agreed otherwise in writing. The working files are the intellectual property of PL and are not supplied. The Raw Footage, video files, InDesign, audio files and edited video files including all copyright remain the property of PL.
SUB-CONTRACTING
PL reserves the right to employ subcontractors to fulfil orders. These subcontractors will act on behalf of PL and we may disclose with them information and contract details as required.
PAYMENT TERMS
The Client agrees to pay a 50% deposit of the quoted amount to secure the booking, within 7 days of the agreement. PL has no obligation to commence work on the Project until the deposit has been paid.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. I pay my respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us and we have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain to you how we collect, use and share your personal information.
This Privacy Policy governs the web sites operated by PAUL LAURANCE Pty Ltd. (“Paul Laurance”), including, without limitation, the web site currently located at paullaurance.com (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

We do not trade information with third parties. We ensure website security is up to date and regularly upgrade as necessary.
